SummaryThe Enterprise Business Analyst role is critical to ensuring emerging functional, SAP & other business system issues are addressed and provide sustainable solutions & that the integrity of the system is consistently monitored.
This requires interacting with business executives, multiple subject matter experts, super users and end users as well as external consultants and collaborating across operations to translate business requirements into system functionality and solutions.
The individual should strive to continuously improve business process efficiency using technology solutions.Primary responsibilities:
Manage the Group Systems Functional landscape.
Ensure that the Group IT application is working as designed & is aligned with mandated business processes.
Manage business processing problems & support request flows to implement, test and document corrective actions, improve reliability, and availability to SAP systems & other centralized business applications
Collaborate with business units, support team members, consultants and developers on high
level business requirements gathering & solution provision
Prepare Functional Specification documents (FSDs) for the existing system and new requirements which will be shared with the Group for approval & developers as a blueprint for change
Customizing the systems' respective business areas and making sure the system reacts in a manner according to the constraints of the requested use case.
Coordinate and participate in any system integration, performance and acceptance testing.Other responsibilities:
Creates and/or supports the creation of required forms & reports in response to business
user needs.
Participate in the planning, monitoring & implementation of SAP system upgrades as far as business process impact is concerned.
Prepare and maintain suitable training documents to be used during progressive training sessions and employee onboarding.Provides user training as and when the need arises.
Defines and implements process improvement measures within the environment.
Ensures all proper change management and incident management processes are followed.
Performs other duties including being on call after office hours to monitor ERP systems & other systems as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications required:
A bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or other related scientific or technical discipline is required, MBA is preferred.
At least five to seven years of SAP or relevant application support experience.Strong Functional Knowledge in one or more of these SAP Utility modules: FI/CO, SD, MM, PP.
Working knowledge of SAP structures, object dependencies and tables.
Strong understanding of SAP end-to-end data flows and interactions between SAP modules.
preferential in the manufacturing industry.
Proficient in the use of SAP Service Marketplace (OSS).
Key competencies and skills:
Hands-on experience using ABAP in an SAP ECC 6.0 /S4 HANA environment.
Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA functionality.
Knowledge of SAP Business Objects BI and SAP Business Planning & Consolidation
The ability to communicate politely, clearly and effectively and persuade and/or influence.
internal customers at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical nature.
Must possess a mindset to objectively view and effectively explain an issue or resolution from an end-user/customer/business perspective.
Must possess excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment with minimal guidance.
