JOB SUMMARY
Manuchar, headquartered in Antwerp, Belgium is a leading distributor of chemicals in emerging markets. We complement our Chemical Distribution business with International Trade Services in steel, polymers and several other raw materials.Manuchar handles over 4 million metric tons of goods, generating 2.8 billion USD in sales. Our local operations are in over 35 countries and 160 locations. Manuchar employs 2,600 professionals worldwide and they are looking to hire a Sales Representative to be based in Nairobi with frequent travel to other regions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and grow existing accounts through a focused sales planService existing key customersIdentify and explore new sales opportunitiesDevelop a strong relationship with the decision makers in the key accounts and industryExpand and consolidate the business within existing customersProspect for new accounts and convert the accounts held by the competitionDevelop a strong relationship with both the operations staff and the decision makers in the key accountsSKILLS, QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCIESBachelors degree from a reputableAt least 3 to 5 years progressive experience in Business to Business selling.In-depth understanding of the marketMust have the ability to work independently, take initiatives and manage prioritiesExcellent communication and organization skills is highly requiredAbility to develop and sustain productive customer relationships
