    Description
    Transsion Holdings is a Chinese manufacturer of mobile phones based in Shenzhen.

    It was the largest smartphone manufacturer by sales in Africa in 2017, and also sells mobile phones in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Latin America.

    Its brands include phone brands such as Itel, Tecno, Infinix; after-sales service brand Carlcare; and accessories brand Oraimo. It manufactures phones in China, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Bangladesh and recently in India.


    Key Responsibilities:

    PR Campaigns:

    Develop and execute product/brand/annual PR strategy and campaigns to support Infinix's strategic objectives in the market and to improve Infinix's positive news coverage and media reach.


    Event Planning:

    Responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing a wide range of events, from corporate meetings and conferences and special occasions.

    This role involves coordinating all aspects of event logistics, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for clients and attendees.

    Content Development:

    Responsible for creating, editing, and managing PR content and key messages that engages, informs, and meets the needs of the target audience.


    Media Liaison:

    Liaise with the local influential media and bloggers with primary focus on tech, coordinate interviews, write copies of statements, organize press conferences etc.

    Provide timely response, strategic advice and creative solutions for dealing with sensitive communications issues and stories.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field. Relevant master's degree or certifications can be advantageous.
    Minimum 5 years' experience in PR and Strategic Partnerships.
    Data-driven decision-making and proficiency in using data analytics tools.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
    Project management and process optimization skills.
    Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR for data privacy).


    Preferred Skills:
    Experience with developing and implementing user engagement strategies
    Multilingual capabilities for managing diverse customer bases.
