Description
Summit Recruitment & Search was established in 2009 to address the recruitment, mass recruitment, executive search, outsourcing and training needs of companies based in Kenya or wanting to enter the Kenyan, East African, South African and African market.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate workshop operations to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize their performance and productivity.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to promote a safe working environment.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
Oversee the procurement and inventory management of spare parts and supplies necessary for workshop operations.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve any issues.
Monitor workshop performance indicators, analyze data, and implement improvement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Proven experience in workshop management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment used in a manufacturing plant.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures in a workshop environment.
Proficient in maintenance planning, spare parts management, and inventory control.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
