    JOB SUMMARY

    Minimum Qualifications:An undergraduate degree in Finance or AccountingProfessional accounting qualifications (CPA or ACCA)A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in tax and treasury functionsGood knowledge and understanding of tax lawsGood understanding of banking procedures and portalsProficiency in spoken and written EnglishAbility to implement and execute set objectives in a fast-paced work environment

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    A) Tax Duties & ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly VAT, Excise duties and WHT for all entities, timely filing of the returns and ensuring that payments are made before due dates as per the tax check listPreparation of monthly VAT reconciliations for each of the companies and resolving any variancesEnsuring that all WIOCC Group companies have up to date tax compliance certificatesProviding responses to tax queries raised by internal stakeholders and ensuring that any tax compliance gaps are addressedAssisting the Group Tax Manager in reviewing contracts entered by different WIOCC Group companiesContinuously monitoring the tax portals for WIOCC Group companies and ensuring that responses are provided to all queries raised by the tax authorities. Continuously checking the statement of accounts issued by the tax authorities and validating them with the taxes paidEnsuring that all the required information is given to external auditors in a timely and accurate mannerMaintaining a tax risk register capturing all the tax requests raised by various tax authorities and ensuring that the status of each tax notification is correctly capturedAssisting the Group Tax Manager in carrying out tax health checks for each of WIOCC Group companiesAssisting the Group Tax Manager in updating the tax computation for each of the WIOCC Group companies monthlyB) Treasury Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist the Treasury Manager with the preparation of monthly cash forecasts for the GroupSupport the Treasury Manager with updating lenders compliance requirements including providing the requisite supporting documentsInterface and collaborate with bank to open new accounts and support negotiating appropriate FX rates for all currency conversionsSupport the Treasury Manager in ensuring that the Group subsidiaries are appropriately funded including executing funds movement in the various banking portalsAny other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
