- MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate should:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field from a recognized institution.
- Be a Certified Public Accountant.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of finance experience, particularly in tax management, financial analysis & performance management, tax compliance, and stakeholder management.
- Review and prepare tax returns, ensure timely payment of taxes for KCB Group Kenyan entities.
- Implement tax governance and compliance processes for all direct and indirect taxes of KCB Group Kenyan entities.
- Support KCB Group subsidiaries in generating standardized tax reports for review and analysis.
- Handle General Ledger tax accounts substantiation for KCB Group Kenyan subsidiaries.
- Establish systems for tax risk identification and management.
- Provide tax advisory across various departments within the group.
- Support internal and external tax audits, resolve tax-related issues, and maintain tax-related records.
