    ABOUT THE COMPANY

    The Council of Legal Education is established under the Legal Education Act, No. 27 of 2012 of the Laws of Kenya. The core functions of the Council of Legal Education are to regulate legal education and training, to license and supervise legal education providers; and to advise the Government on matters relating to legal education and training.

    JOB SUMMARY

    Person SpecificationsFor appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with a D (Plain) or its equivalent;A valid driving license;A defensive Driving Certificate;First aid certificate;Occupational Trade Test II;A minimum of eight (8) years relevant experience, three (3) of which should be at the position of driver I or its equivalent; andFulfil the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Driving motor vehicles as authorized;Carrying out minor mechanical adjustments;Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle;Keeping up-to-date work tickets for vehicles;Recognizing and reporting mechanical defaults of the vehicles;Ensuring security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road;Monitoring and reporting expiry of insurance policies for motor vehicles;Preparing and submitting reports on transport when the need arises; andEnsuring the safety of passengers and/or goods therein;

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    Vehicle maintenance and repair, Driving license Class B, C, E - light vehicles & heavy commercial vehicles, Car driving, Route planning

    REQUIRED EDUCATION

    Bachelor's degree
