Lyndsay’s Enterprise – Sales Lady (Sales and Marketing Department) 2013

I worked as a sales lady in the Marketing and Sales department at Lyndsays Enterprise Company. I performed tasks such as handing Sales activities at the Furniture Store, welcoming customers to the store, assisting customers with prices of our products, sealing sales, receiving cash and Banking.

     Selling

I had the duty of selling. These duties included meeting the prospects, presenting and demonstrating the products, inducing the prospects to buy, taking orders and effecting sales.

I was, required to collect information about the credit-worthiness of the customers. I collected detailed information and submitted to his firm in time.

Attending to complaints

I attended to the complaints of the customers immediately and tried to settle their grievances quickly and sincerely.

 

Nairobi West Hospital – Intern (Psychiatry Department)2016

As an intern in the Psychiatry Department, I was responsible for Clinical Activities by devoting time providing direct, including psychotherapy (individuals, groups, and couple therapy), intakes, crisis intervention, psychological testing, and clinical consultation, psychotherapy, Psychological testing through administering psychological test during the course of their internship and complete accompanying testing reports under the supervision of the testing supervisor, case presentations through making case presentations in group supervision

Other specific experience gained include:

Maintained a thorough understanding of the hospital’s mission, business priorities and strategic plans; assigned to both adolescent and adult clinical care unit treating chemical dependency and psychiatric conditions

Ensured the consistent adherence of proper protocols and procedures according to the standards of practice of the hospital

Assisted in daily accurate data collection and assessments of patient’s current mental state

Collaborated with management, colleagues and other support staff members to ensure lines of communication remained open, objectives were clearly communicated and deadlines were met.

Other responsibilities included serving as observational liaison between staff and patients, providing individualized counseling and assisting with group counseling

As an intern in the Human, Capital and Administration Department I was responsible for handling department clients, assisting clients from other organizations who needed help in the department, dispatching of invoices, letters and certificates to other departments and feeding data into excel sheets, dispatching of documents to different departments, Preforming any other assigned administrative duties
