Career Profile   

 I am a Kenyan lady, born on the 27th of November 1974. 

I have over 26 years working experience of impressive success within private and government sectors.  I have   been incharge  of departments in senior strategic roles. Expert at leading teams to accomplish projects, setting long term and short term strategic goals, reviewing existing policies and if necessary develop and implement effective policies and action plans. I can successfully lead development of organizational structures in line with a number of functions, provision of advisory on establishment & staff complement to ensure optimal staffing levels for effective service delivery, review of schemes of service and other career progression guidelines. I am Exceptional on planning, developing the budget of the organization, reviewing the budget proposals for accuracy and completeness, combining with accountancy and monitoring organizational spending, monitoring projects, alongside making proposals.   

I utilize keen analysis and insights to drive department’s improvements and implementation of best practices while utilizing interpersonal skills, resolving multiple and complex issues and motivating staff for peak performance while aligning with organization’s strategy, mission and vision.  

  

Experience

I have more than 26 years of experience in different positions within government departments and institutions of learning. 10 Years at the county government and 16 at the Kenya Ports Authority. Coupled with my education background, I can be trusted with developing policy frameworks for a variety of issues, strategic plans, leading teams to achieve goals and being part of operational decisions.

I HAVE MASTERS IN SCIENCE IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT BUT I AM AN ONGOING STUDENT AT PWANI UNIVERSITY PURSUING PhD ON GOVERNANCE TOPIC - INTERGOVERNMENTAL CHALLENGES
