I graduated from ASIAN INSTITUTE OF FASHION DESIGNING (AIFD-IU)
as a Textile Designer. I have always been interested in designing and
its process. While studying in AIFD, i got my training in a detailed
design process which includes research , color palatte , sampling
techniques of surface development such as embroidery , embellishment
weaving , painting and prints. I also have knowledge about the
importance of different materials and textures and how color palatte
can affect the human mind and mood. My education has trained me to
achieve goals while keeping in mind the key factors which can affect
the designing process such as the importance of seasons and occasions.
My expertise lies in researching the latest trends, sketching ,
ideation , art direction , manual work , making of mood boards and
story boards of collections , creating and modifying motifs. I also
have great command over design software i.e. Adobe Photoshop , Adobe
Illustrator and AutoCad .I also did a Design internship at AZALEA,
EMADI TEXTILES and IDEAS BY GUL AHMED (HOME TEXTILES- DESIGN
DEPARTMENT) where I learnt a lot about designing silhouettes . I am a
self motivated and exceptionally hardworking individual who knows how
to meet deadlines by not just producing quantity work but also quality
work that can compete in the market and meet new trends in the best
possible manner. I would love to play my part by contributing in this ever-growing design industry.
