KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Briefing:
Ensure that all project briefs supplied by Researchers are well understood by the implementers Ensure questionnaires flow and logic is conducted in Operations
Make suggestions on additional information that could be useful for project.
Questionnaire:
Ensure that all interviews have a common approach to the fieldwork such that the administration of the questionnaire is the same.
Ensuring that they all understand the procedure involved in the entering of the data on the questionnaireFieldwork Quality Control:
Ensure use of the Ipsos Field Management System to check work completed by all teams daily.
To ensure quality standards of operation ( fieldwork) all personnel involved undergo rigorous and continuous training as well as thorough briefing of the project involved before embarking on it
across all the countries that we operate in.
Ensure fieldwork is executed with utmost diligence and professionalism.
Ensure back-checking on all surveys is conducted an accompaniments are also executed in all the surveys across all the regions
Field budgeting and financial controls in the field:
Responsible for organizing the field budgets for Kenya.
Ensuring that projects do not go beyond approved budgets and efficiencies are achieved.
Implementing fieldwork financial checks/controls that will ensure optimal resource allocation.
Capacity building
Responsible for building the capacity of the field-teams across all regions
This will entail:
Following up to ensure uniformity and thoroughness of the field teams all regions of Kenya.
Facilitating regular field audits to check of the competence of the various teams.
General
Managing field staff
Communication particularly about progress on achieving deadlines.
Reporting
Weekly reports will be needed that would reflect the current projects in the field and their status in executing the above duties, you will closely work with the following
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Education
University degree preferred
Experience
5 years' experience in a Research firm (exposure to Qualitative/ Quantitative research)
Advanced MS Excel and budgeting skills are essential
