Strategy and vision setting for the community team: Owning the strategy and vision of the community team and having a bold and clear multi-year vision for how the community team is supporting the company's success.
Understand the company's overall strategy and objectives and setting team vision and roadmap that support the business needs.Strategic understanding of the community role lifecycle (phases) and defining success criteria for each phase.
Developing a growth strategy that is tailored to the team's and company's needs and objectives and ensure the team is sustainable and continues to evolve over the long term.
Identifying the key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with the team's goals and objectives, and that can be measured effectively.
The metrics should be risk assessed and continuously assessed to ensure that they remain relevant and responsive to the business vision.
Create a comprehensive strategy and plan for community activities that can promote the business and generate awareness for Zipline services.
Work closely with the marketing and communications team to ensure that your efforts align with your overall marketing and branding objectives.
CL Execution and Partnership:
You will play a critical role in fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, analyzing data for insights, creating compelling storytelling tools, and effectively communicating the community team's impact to stakeholders and the company.
Building and maintaining reliable and strong working relationships with primary stakeholders, both internal and external to the company. This will involve effective communication, stakeholder mapping, and timely responses to their inquiries.Analyzing community data trends and developing reporting tools to provide visibility and communicate the impact of the community team's efforts to stakeholders and the company.
This will involve data-driven analysis to assess the effectiveness of community initiatives and convey the outcomes to relevant parties.Creating storytelling tools to share impactful stories about the community's positive experiences with Zipline's services. This will help the entire company better understand the significance of Zipline within the community, and further enhance community goodwill.
Creating communication and storytelling tools to engage with stakeholders effectively.
This will involve identifying key stakeholders, understanding their needs, and developing tailored communication approaches to engage and collaborate with them.
People Mentorship:
Setting the stage for the community's team success and supporting it through coaching and accountability, then standing back and allowing them and you to shine.
Oversee a team of community leads, in charge of raising public awareness of Zipline services, creating strong and dependable connections with community stakeholders, promoting goodwill and acting as the company's public face.
Research and dedicated ownership to determine the best strategies to quickly hire and onboard new community leads and getting them excited about Zipline's mission and visionMake sure the team has the resources they need to carry out their tasks effectively. This includes training, tools, and ongoing support. Be available to answer questions and provide guidance when needed.
Providing exceptional performance management to ensure community leads are meeting goals and driving Zipline business outcomes. This will help ensure that the team stays on track and continues to improve over time
What You'll Bring
Strong written & verbal communications skills with experience working on proposals, reports, and presentations.
Demonstrated ability to drive stakeholder mapping, develop relationships with senior external stakeholders (political and social), and transform them into Zipline's champions.
Ability to interpret data findings into compelling user insights and stories that you communicate in a simple and effective way to the company.
Strong risk management skills with an ability to predict and preempt potential roadblocks.Market research experience with an ability to analyze and interpret information and make strong recommendations for new opportunities for the business.
Prior experience in developing and executing campaigns to support a company's vision and services.Entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, self-sufficiency, and adaptability is a must
Ability to break down complex goals into individual tasks and organize them into executable work plans with clear deadlines.
Experience managing a team to successfully plan, coordinate, and drive service awareness within a community and getting community goodwill.
