JOB SUMMARY
He/she will be responsiblefor re-enforcing the corporate and brand position internally and externally by managing company events/activities; Maintaining good relations with the media, event partners and company suppliers; Monitor and adapts success stories about the Company. Investing sustainably to position the company as a partner in community development in Kenya, to create an overall positive impact on society and relevant stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In consultation with the MarketingDirection in execution of Public Relations to implement strategies, goals, andobjectives that will enhance, sustain and build equity for the Airtel brand.Manage the media portfolio and engagement,Company leadership profiles, sponsorship assets and events.Provide content to the company'scommunication channels to increase the effectiveness and impact for employees,relevant stakeholders, media representatives and the public.Regular review and update content on the company's websites, give support in brand/promotional activities where necessary.Assistin developing and implementing the CSR Strategy and approved initiatives linewith the outlined CSR focus areas.Serveas internal resource and external representative on CSR issues.Conductenvironmental impact analysis to highlight critical areas the company can impactthe communities whilst benchmarking against other African countries, AirtelAfrica, competition, and industry best practices.Design and implement monitoringand evaluating tools with relevant stakeholders.Collaboratewith relevant government agencies and ensure compliance to statutoryrequirement and adhere to processes for evaluation of external partners. Collaboratewith various departments to implement/support integrated marketingcommunication including HR to develop and implement Employee Volunteer programsand recognition.
