    Description

    Fanisi is a HR consulting and management company that guides enterprises in setting up management and development of their workforce.

    We support Small and Medium Enterprises to excel in improving the people component of their businesses and organizations by building human capital through developing employee related policies and practices, staff training and development, incentive programs, talent acquisition and retention.

    Summary

    They seek to hire a Communications Officer who will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the organization's communication strategies.

    This role demands a dynamic individual with a passion for the creative economy, extensive experience in communications, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the creative sector.

    You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication plans to promote its mission, activities and programs.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:
    Develop and execute communication strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
    Tailor communication plans for program-specific messages.
    Generate engaging content for various channels and oversee multimedia creation.
    Cultivate relationships with media outlets and manage media inquiries.
    Facilitate clear communication within the organization.
    Develop social media strategies and monitor channels for engagement.
    Plan and execute PR campaigns and coordinate events.
    Establish communication KPIs and provide regular reports on strategy effectiveness.
    Supervise Communications team members and external consultants.

    Required Specification

    Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is desirable.
    Proven experience in strategic communication, public relations, or a related role.
    In-depth knowledge of the cultural and creative industries, particularly the challenges faced by the sector in Africa.
    Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to create compelling and clear content.
    Experience in managing social media platforms and digital communication tools.
    Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
    Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including internal teams, media, and partners.
    Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation practices for communication strategies.
