Dennis Nyakieni

I am an experienced economic policy analyst with 12 years demonstrated experience in the financial services and Research Industry. I am a Fellow – Economists Society of Kenya and an Astute CX leader with an exceptional ability to build strong work ethic and lead effective teams, to achieve performance metrics within a certain deliverable framework. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Economics – Moi University  and a Bachelors of Arts degree – Maseno University and currently pursuing a Doctorate in Economics at University of Nairobi. 

I have held various roles that have equipped me with a diverse skill set. I have worked as an Economist at SBN Edward Smith LLP, a global consulting firm, a Relationship Manager, Personal Banking Relationship Officer and as a Retail sales Representative at Co-operative Bank of Kenya Limited. I am currently an Economist at the county Government of Nyamira and also a Trade Finance Consultant at Euro Exim Bank. I am experienced in Macro-Economic Analysis and Research, Business Trend Research, Consumer Demand & Trend Analysis, Data Gathering & Analysis.  I have worked on policy impact evaluation and forecasting using partial and general equilibrium models; SAM, CGE and DSGE, I am proficient & possess in-depth knowledge on Statistical software’s, Stata, LIMDEP/NLOGIT, E-views, little experience in R and Matlab
