    Summary


    HJFMRI is seeking a Senior IT Specialist to provide support to employees or internal customers in resolving moderately complex or escalated technology issues.

    Ensures the proper day-to-day operation of internal technology applications and equipment.

    Installs, diagnoses and repairs computer hardware, software and peripheral equipment; conducts preventative maintenance on hardware and software on a scheduled basis; analyzes and corrects problems with assigned systems and associated components; troubleshoots and repairs computers, monitors, printers and scanners, data projectors, and other related peripheral equipment; provides end user training and support of existing and future applications modules which includes mobile devices assigned to HJFMRI employees.

    Responsibilities

    Provide Tier 2 IT support to HJF employees globally.
    Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
    Manage desktop support tickets ensuring support SLAs are met.
    Administer core Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Print and File shares.
    Support Macs and Windows PCs in an enterprise environment
    Work with technology vendors to facilitate equipment repair or troubleshooting.
    May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.

    Qualifications
    Work Environment

    This position will take place primarily in an office setting.

    Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

    Minimum 5 years of increasingly responsible experience working as a computer support technician supporting multiple sites with a variety of computer equipment, operating systems, and applications software in a multi-vendor environment.

    Experience supporting MacOS and Windows 7, 8.x, 10 in an enterprise environment
    Experience using Google Apps (Google Mail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, etc.)

    Education And Experience

    Minimum Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer Science
    Microsoft Office 365 Administration experience
    CompTIA Security+ preferred
