Deloitte/USAID/KEMSA Support Program.
- Successfully transformed KEMSA, implemented a new Business Model (The
- Medical Supplies Supermarket)
- Developed a Transformation and Change Management Plan for KEMSA to support the Transformation and Change Management within the organization.
- Designed and implemented a new organizational structure to support the new

Reporting to the Group C.E.O, I directed all aspects of Start-up and Integration of 545 staff in 12 companies spread over 5 Countries (UAE,KE,UG,ET, MR,RW) into one Company, Wananchi Group.
Wanainchi Group is a USD 80 Million investment in Triple Play, first in East and Central Africa.
2005-2007 Corporate Change Manager - AMREF HQ (18 Countries)
Reporting to the C.E.O and frequently interacting with the Board while working with cross-functional teams, I led the Organizational Strengthening Program (OSP) throughout AMREF’s 6 Country Offices in Africa and 12 National Offices in North America and Europe . The Organizational Strengthening Program was an Organizational Transformation to adopt a new structure and new ways of working and I used my expertise in change management to successfully deliver it.
As a result of the successful implementation of OSP, on time and within budget, AMREF realized a
150% growth in fully funded project revenue within 2 years.
2000 - 2003
Change Management Specialist – Tetra Pak International, Switzerland & Sweden.
As a Change Management Specialist, I implemented Change Management interventions
to support the implementation of Tetra Pak’s “Global Business Transformation Program”. I participated in the successful implementation of Change management in UK, France, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland.
Accomplishments
Among others:-
• Established, nurtured and deployed a Change Agent Network in each Country.
- Established a Projects and Change Management Office in each implementation Country.
• Change Management Lead for the set-up of European Financial Shared
Services Centre in Manchester, UK.
• Developed a Site Change Readiness Assessment Tool-kit used to determine
each site’s change readiness status before onset of the implementation.
• Co-authored a Tetra Pak Specific Change Management Handbook describing
the change management approaches, tools and resources necessary for
successful implementation of a change initiative.
• Organized and facilitated Cluster 5 (6 Country) Change Management , Lessons
Learned and Knowledge Transfer workshop (25 participants/3 day event)
- April 2002-April 2003, Change Management Lead for Tetra Pak Processing Systems
in (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland & Norway). This was voted the best Change
implementation ever. Nordic Tetra Pak Processing Systems has 460 staff in 10 sites across 5 Countries and revenue in excess of USD 12 Billion. (2002)
1998 – 2001 Projects & HR Manager, Tetra Pak, Kenya.
I successfully implemented the following projects in 10 Countries in East, Central and Indian Ocean Islands.
