I have been working in Kakuma refugee camp as The Area manager " The National Council of Churches of Kenya"(NCCK /RSP) Refugee program from 2013 to December 2022 when NCCK exited the operation. My duties and responsibilities included; program management and development, staff management, and capacity building, operational management including management of multi-Agency residential compound. In NCCK, I oversaw several projects within the refugee and the host community set up funded by different donors and have the ability to retain good relationship with the donors including UNHCR, UN-Habitat, USAID, PRWDF, IAFR among others, having been in the refugee operation form 2003 to 2022.

I have rich knowledge in management and responding to all sorts of emergencies. Am a holder of a degree in BSc (Hons) Health systems management which has given me an added advantage to my managerial skills including developing and strengthening healthy programmatic systems within my organization. As the Area manager I was responsible for the overall coordination and implementation and program monitoring and evaluation work in the processes of annual planning and budgeting, regular monitoring, production of periodic reports, ensuring good internal and external communications among others. I have a wide knowledge and experience in this field of program management for several years and strong proposal development skills that I feel confident that I am the right candidate for this position given a chance.
