About Valentine Olunga:

Hello! Looking for someone to do your virtual work? That is me, from research, data collection,  data entry, and analysis I'm your person. I am well versatile with the computer and I also am good at logistics and planning. I participated in the IAWRT program in the year 2021 (International Association of Women in Radio and Television.) We learned topics such as cyber-security, and the SDGs, handling harassment in the workplace, the importance of technology in media (digital media), etc.  I am currently interning at a non-profit organization (The Kenyatta Trust) and I'm also a part of a non-profit organization that is in its early stage, called Send Me. I am a student taking communications and media and would like to focus majorly on public relations. I want to affiliate myself with NGOs and non-profit organizations because I believe in the Pay it forward effect and giving back to society. I have undergone mentorship on soft skills like critical thinking, decision-making, emotional intelligence, and intellectual humility. I have also undergone training on the Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team by Patrick Lencioni. I enjoy reading and I also write blogs. I am adept at creative writing. Experience

I have interned for around eight months now and I will continue before I enroll to go back to university in 2023. My work entails data collection, research, data entry, logistics,  scanning of documents, printing, photocopying, and filing and planning for programs of the office eg camps. I am well versed in both hard and soft skills crucial in the 21st century. I work well both independently and with a team. I am good at structuring and organizing. During my high school period, I did odd jobs in retail shops and dabbled a bit in sales (promotional items.)

Education

I attended primary school in Mumias Sugar complex and completed my KCPE in 2014 where I managed to score 404 marks. I was called to St. Mary's Girls High School where I studied till form three and transferred to ACK Milimani Girls to complete my studies in form four, I got a C+. I attended Maseno University for my undergraduate degree and only managed to finish the first year before I ceased going due to financial and psychological reasons.
