Experience

Virtual Executive Assistant/Writer- (VSO), Remote January 2023–December 2023

  • Managed the client's travel arrangements. In my previous role as a virtual executive assistant, I managed to prepare travel itineraries and book hotels, accommodations, and flights.
  • Created social media content, a carousel, ad campaigns, and social media engagement.
  • Participated in meetings, taking minutes, and updating records in the system.
  • Inbox cleaning, calendar management and scheduling, booking hotels, and performing other errands.
  • Developed WordPress websites and managed and regularly updated SEO content.

Kenya Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat-Procurement Intern-April 2018-December 2018

  • Prepare local purchase orders, requisitions, and receipts, and manage store files.
  • Order fulfilment. Receipts of goods from supplies and processed payments in conjunction with the finance department.
  • Researched flights and booked tickets for managers and staff travelling on-call duties.
  • Processed payments on time and made requests for goods from suppliers that were depleted at the store.
  • Participated in tender preparation, opening, and awarding the best bidder.

National Insurance Fund—Industrial Attachment, Procurement Department, January 2016–April 2016

  • Stores management: confirmed the delivery and storage of goods, dispatched stores, and ensured the security of goods stored.
  • Prepared purchase requisitions and quotations, and prepared store replenishment.
  • Attended tender meetings, monthly budget meetings with the finance department and took minutes.
  • Worked as a team with other departments to meet deadlines when the staff were going to events.
  • Received and returned calls on inquiries on the department as a function.
