Duties and Responsibilities

  • Documenting and quarterly auditing all goods on consignment ie; at Hemingway’s, Angama – Mara, Sirai, Grange Hall – US and Xigera in Botwana
  • Ensuring consignment stores are all well stocked at all times and follow up on special orders to ensure they are delivered to clients on time
  • In charge of packing & timely sending out consignment and individual parcel either through Fedex, DHL, Skynet or Aramex as well as unpacking incoming stock and studio packages whilst ensuring quality
  • Preparing delivery notes for outgoing stocks and return notes for consignment sent back to studio
  • Ensuring the company clearing agent clears all imports from international suppliers in a timely manner
  • Managing entire studio stocks at all time by having all records safely kept and constantly updated to reflect current inventory status.
  • Liaise with accounts office regarding payments of all invoices for items ordered and services rendered
  • Costing new items produced at all times and giving stock codes 
  • Following up on consignment sales and in charge of commercial invoicing to all our shops as well as the trunk shows
  • Preparing monthly payroll for beaders and tailors
  • Assist clients visiting the studio; greeting, finding requested garments/items, writing invoices as required, correctly charging sales on POS machine and packing sold items for the clients.

  • Validating Purchase Order documents brought back from trade, recording on Excel and forwarding them to finance department for payment processing.
