On The Other Side of The Counter

So I decide to drive in through the less congested mini mall and pop in to the supermarket. Straight ahead, I go to the counter and pay for the hotdog before proceeding to the collection counter. The cashier looks abit worn out but still can afford a smile for every customer she is serving. One at a time! As i head to the collection point, I notice the lady is serving a young boy and she is probably trying to explain something or get some more information from the boy regarding his order. I stand behind him two steps away. Its taking too long but the lady at the collection point doesn't seem to notice the impatience running through my spine all the way to make a report on my face. I keep waiting but nothing is going on, I step forward and the first thing i do is say hi, however, i get  ignored by the lady and this I dont take from a service provider! Did i just mention  am already geared up by this lady's attitude? Well, this is that point where i get the opportunity to give her free customer service lessons without prior preparation for the class! She stands there gazing at me lecturing her and towards the end i ask to speak to the manager. At this point, she hates me with every vein running in her body but she manages to hide her feelings and apologizes very fast and explains how much she had a rough day. I forgive her but I make sure she gets the lessons right.

I take my hot dog and head out, pissed and lost appetite. I remember a popular saying that no matter how bad the situation is, Dont forget to eat! Ofcourse you need that energy to fight back.
