    Job Summary:
    Umba is currently in search of a Web Experience Designer to join our team based in our Kilimani Office.

    The Web Experience Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing visual solutions for various projects, as well as managing and updating the company's website to ensure its relevance, functionality, and visual appeal using Web flow.

    This role requires a creative mindset, strong design skills, and proficiency in web development technologies, particularly Webflow.

    The Web Experience Designer collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs and ensure a seamless user experience on the website.


    Responsibilities:
    Create visually appealing designs, including marketing materials, advertisements, brochures, logos, and website graphics.
    Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate design concepts and facilitate feedback from stakeholders.
    Collaborate with other teams to understand project requirements and translate them into compelling visual solutions.
    Maintain and update the company website, including content management, layout adjustments, and troubleshooting technical issues.

    Proficiency in Webflow and experience in designing, developing, and maintaining responsive websites, including content population, SEO optimization, testing, publishing, and ongoing management.

    Ensure website functionality and performance by conducting regular testing, monitoring site metrics, and implementing necessary updates and improvements.
    Optimize website for search engine visibility and user experience, including mobile responsiveness and site speed.

    Stay updated on design trends, web development technologies, and industry best practices to continuously enhance the company's online presence.

    Provide support and training to internal teams on website content management systems and design software.
    Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and agencies as needed for design and web development projects.
    Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all design and web assets.


    Qualifications and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
    Atleast 5 years of experience in graphic design, web design, and website maintenance.
    Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
    Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
    Strong portfolio showcasing creative design projects and website development work.
    Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
    Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Knowledge of SEO principles and practices is a plus.
    Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile optimization techniques.
    Experience with e-commerce platforms and online marketing strategies is desirable.
    Proficiency in Webflow and knowledge in HTML
