    Description
    The International Solidarity Foundation (ISF)?is a Finnish non-governmental organization founded in 1970 with its headquarters in Helsinki, Finland.

    Currently, ISF supports development projects in three countries:

    Somaliland, Kenya and Nicaragua.?ISF focuses on fighting against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) particularly Female Genital Mutilation and Cutting (FGM/C) and promoting economic empowerment and livelihood opportunities for women.

    Summary


    ISF is now seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the project, and to supervise the project team consisting of a Communications Coordinator and a Finance Officer.

    Required skills and experience

    Education:
    Appropriate University Degree in the fields of gender studies, community development, social sciences etc.


    Professional experience:
    At least 3 years' experience in implementing gender programmes, preferably in the grassroots.
    At least 3 years' experience in project management including planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting
    Experience in community mobilization and working with communities
    Knowledge of relevant national and local policies, actors and networks in the developing countries.
    Ability to facilitate joint meetings and workshops.
    Ability to lead a small team, work independently and influence others.
    Good planning and organizational skills
    Good skills in Office software packages, especially Microsoft Office.


    Language Requirements:
    Excellent written and oral English and working language of the implementing county.
