    JOB SUMMARY

    We are looking for someone who can handle the regional sales for the Animal feeds for 2 locations : Nakuru & Mt. Kenya region. Following are the requirements :- Technical knowledge of animal feeds and must have worked in sales and distribution of animal feeds. Atleast 8+ years experience in sales and marketing of Animal feeds.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Roles & responsibilities:Recruit, manage and improve performance of Distributors and Stockists in the allocated region.Carrying out farm trainings/trials in order to achieve desiredperformance levelsVisiting top dairy & poultry farms as prospects, getting businessleads and converting them to customers within the laid downsales process.Following the agreed sales process & ensure that sales teamfollow the sales process to perform agrees performance activitiesImplementing correct dairy and poultry farming practices in order to achieve the expected productivity in all farms and convertthem to BIDCO'S business.Putting up and issuing dairy & poultry marketing collateral in thefarms as agreed with NSDMParticipating in agricultural shows and farmer field days topromote dairy products and as directed by the NSDMIndependently manages complaints regarding dairy and poultryproducts in line with company proceduresProvides information and guidance to farmers about all newproducts of BAL.Gathers information from farmers regarding product performance and gives feedback to the company for improvement, if any

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    Negotiation, Product knowledge, Fertilizers, Use of agricultural machinery (harvester, plougher, others), Consumer sales (B2C), Technical sales, Product demonstration and promotion, Sales strategy, Marketing

    REQUIRED EDUCATION

    Bachelor's degree
