DutiesBasic Function of the Position –
Supports intensive diplomatic engagement often of a sensitive nature by the Permanent Representative, Deputy Representative, and two expert level staff.
Daily contact with foreign delegations, the United Nations and service providers in support of US Mission goals.Supports intensive diplomatic engagement often of a sensitive nature by the Permanent Representative, Deputy Representative, and two expert level staff.

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
Three years of professional office experience as an Executive Assistant or equivalent or other organizational experience is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of basicdiplomacy (how embassies and international organization interact) is required. Knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet programs, especially MS-Word and MS-Excel is required. Must be comfortable dealing with senior US officials as well as those from foreign delegations and the UN. Must also be comfortable using or learning to use various types of equipment.
Education
Requirements:
A college Degree is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:
English level IV (Fluent) Reading/Writing/Speaking is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have excellent interpersonal, administrative and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
All applicants under consideration will be required to pass security certifications.
