    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will operate and maintain water infrastructure systems to ensure stable, reliable, and efficient 24/7 water supply and sewerage services.

    The position will entail approximately 70% fieldwork and 30% office tasks.

    Specific responsibilities will include, amongst others:


    Lead in designing and implementing water and sewerage projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    Lead field service activities, encompassing installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing water and sewerage systems.
    Develop and implement operations and maintenance plans and standard operating procedures.
    Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to identify technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions.
    Conduct routine maintenance and schedule preventive maintenance of the water and sewerage infrastructure.
    Coordinate with project teams to ensure the timely and accurate implementation of water and sewerage projects.
    Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing water and sewerage systems.
    Promote the Company's safety practices at the workplace.


    REQUIREMENTS

    Hard skills and experience:
    Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    Must have at least 8 years of proven experience designing, operating, and maintaining water infrastructure systems.
    Must have hands-on experience of at least 4 years in machinery operation and maintenance.
    Experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, and monitoring.
    Knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and mechanical principles.
    Proficient in relevant software tools for engineering design, data analysis, and project management.
    Member of relevant professional bodies.
