- As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will operate and maintain water infrastructure systems to ensure stable, reliable, and efficient 24/7 water supply and sewerage services. The position will entail approximately 70% fieldwork and 30% office tasks. Specific responsibilities will include, amongst others:
- Lead in designing and implementing water and sewerage projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead field service activities, encompassing installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing water and sewerage systems.
- Develop and implement operations and maintenance plans and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to identify technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance and schedule preventive maintenance of the water and sewerage infrastructure.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure the timely and accurate implementation of water and sewerage projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing water and sewerage systems.
- Promote the Company's safety practices at the workplace.
RequirementsHard skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Must have at least 8 years of proven experience designing, operating, and maintaining water infrastructure systems.
- Must have hands-on experience of at least 4 years in machinery operation and maintenance.
- Experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, and monitoring.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and mechanical principles.
- Proficient in relevant software tools for engineering design, data analysis, and project management.
- Member of relevant professional bodies.
