    Description

    ReelAnalytics empowers brand owners to identify their target audience, develop effective marketing strategies, and execute successful media campaigns.


    ROLE SUMMARY
    We're on the lookout for a Media Analyst to interpret written, audio, and video content in various languages while preserving the original message.

    The responsibilities include immersing in the context of provided material, utilizing specialized tools, and reviewing final work.

    To excel in this position, you need sharp attention to detail, keen curiosity, and proficiency in English and Luganda, alongside your mother tongue.


    KEY REQUIREMENTS
    - Proficiency in English and French is essential.
    - Strong computer and fast typing skills.
    - Previous experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or similar role.
    - Familiarity with content editing tools.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    - Diploma from a recognized Institution. Background in Journalism/Mass Communication is advantageous.
    - Additional certification in Linguistics is a bonus.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    - Translate text, audio, and video content from French to English.
    - Ensure the translated content maintains its original meaning and style.
    - Create subtitles for videos and online presentations.
    - Verify the translation quality using specialized dictionaries and tools.
    - Review translated material for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.
    - Collaborate with team members to meet clients' translation requirements.
    - Maintain the original format of content (e.g., font and structure).
    - Engage with industry experts to keep up with new translation methods and tools.
