    Description
    Outspan Hospital started operations with the establishment of an Out Patient Department on August 7, 2001. A month later, the In Patient Department was opened with a capacity of 21 beds.


    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatment, for patients identified as requiring clinical interventions for mental illness and drug and alcohol issues.

    Works with the multi-disciplinary team and clients to develop and evaluate clinical care plans.
    Liaises with visiting psychiatrists and other professionals as required.
    Discharge planning and effective liaison with external service providers.
    Administration of medications as prescribed and manages, monitors treatment regime.
    Provides clinical advice to health and custodial colleagues as required.


    REQUIREMENTS

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
    Diploma in KRCHN
    Specialization in Mental Health
    3-5 years' relevant Work Experience as a Mental health nurse
    Experience in a management position


    OTHER SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
    Good listening skills
    Critical thinking
    Analytical skills
    Organizational skills
    Ability to multitask and commitment.
    Can work under pressure
    Good interpersonal relations
