JOB SUMMARY

Purpose of the RolePrepare and present quality beverages according to standard recipes. Assist to ensure the restaurant delivers the best possible results in People, Products, and Profit areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Be able to mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.Peel, slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.Raise stores requisitions in time and obtain stock from the storesAssessing bar customers' needs and preferences and making recommendations Maintain the set minimum stock levels in the bar at all times. Undertake the weekly and monthly stock verification process Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to keep drink costs at a minimum Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all timesComply with all food and beverage regulations, health, safety and hygiene standards and policies Keep a daily record of happenings within the bar area including losses etc.Ensure proper handover to the next barista at the close of each shift Perform other tasks assigned within the scope of your duty.Ensuring that the (HACCP) is adhered to on a daily basis by all members of staffQualifications & Key competencies/skillsCertificate from Barista training institute a MUSTAt least 1 – 3 yrs' experience in a busy restaurantExcellent physical condition and staminaCertificate for a barista course a MUSTAbility and previous experience in operating a coffee making machinePrevious experience in a similar role in a well-known EstablishmentMust have lots of passion in coffee brewing and must know coffeeFluency in English languageCoffee brewing knowledgeGood knowledge and experience in Cocktail makingFood & Beverage service techniques
