Yvonne Akinyi Oyugi

My name is Yvonne Akinyi oyugi and I am 24 years old.

I have been working as a sales representative which involves customer service also.

I studied Business Administration and Management at Zetech University and specialized in Marketing.

I would say that I have some background on customer service because I worked at a call center company called Tenspot and it was all about communicating with customers on phone, so this shaped me and gave me an idea on how to deal with clients in whichever scenario or circumstance.

Throughout my career I have noticed that I have always been good with clients because I give the one most important thing that makes them feel important which is, listening to them while they talk without interrupting. By doing so, it also makes it easier on my end to get to understand what they truly want and how I can be of help.

Moving forward , I hope to expand my experience across different industries, which is why I am interested in your company.

Lipa later.(2022)

I worked as a B2B Lead at lipa later.

I was onboarding shops to partner with lipa later in terms of financing products for customers as they pay back in instalments. So basically it was about closing deals.

Tenspot call center.(2021 Jan-Mar)

I worked as debt collector/customer service.

My role was to call clients to remind them of their repayment date, for the defaulters it was my duty to let them know of the penalties they incur each day they fail to pay.

In some cases I was negotiating and teaching them how to do their repayments.

Burn Kenya.(2021)

I worked here as a sales representative /pilot.

My job was introducing a new product in different remote areas in Kenya.

I was creating awareness on the product to our prospects and teaching them on how to operate it . Doing research, collecting data and trying to find our target market.

Family Bank. (2022)

I worked here recently, I left on 1st of November 2022  Direct sales representative Assets and Liabilities.

My role was going marketing to the field to sell our products. Open accounts, sell loans and other services that we offer. My job was basically about interacting with clients one on one but make follow ups on phone.

St Anne's Kisoko Girls. (2011-2015)

I did my secondary education here and attained a B-.

Zetech University.( 2016 Sept-2020 Nov)

I studied Bachelor of Business Administration and Management. I specialized in Marketing and graduated on 13th of November 2020 with Second class honors.
