Winifred Mwikali

I consider myself a ‘forever student' and a quick learner. I am eager to both build on my academic foundations in Software Development with coding skills. I also have an educational background in Psychology and want to merge it with the latest technological advancement through continued coursework and professional development. I am interested in working with organizations that aim for building tech solutions, mentoring, training, and community building.

I have been a software developer intern at Eclectics International Limited. The tasks include:

• Development of front end web applications using Angular and React.js. These technologies include: Front End Design, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, User Experience, User Interface Design.
•  Promote and work with practices such as behavior driven design, continuous integration, continuous delivery and write efficient, secure and testable code. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to turn opportunities into working solution.

Participated in the Access Program in Moringa School which is a 6-month Software Development boot camp. In the 6 months, the technologies learned were HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Flask, and Django. The program also had soft skills sessions and assessments based on the 5 meta-skills. The boot camp was project-based and we had projects done weekly.
