Valentine Gor

I hold Diploma in Law from MKU and currently I work in a corporate institution as a Legal assistant. Am continuing with my degree to enhance my career in Law.

Am a self oriented person, always ready to learn and trying new things because how else will I know I can do it without giving it a trial.

During my Judicial attachment in Nakuru Law Courts, I learnt alot for a short period of time. First thing I learnt is that if you want to excel in this Legal profession you have to be very keen to details and make sure you don't make mistakes such as grammar mistakes because as a Lawyer it's your language which sells you.

Secondly one thing as a Lawyer you have to be a reader and a researcher such that you have to go extra mile to meet your client's objective.

Currently am working as a legal assistant in a corporate institution and am having the corporate working experience apart from what I learnt on Judicial attachment.

One thing have learnt in a corporate world is that, nothing comes easy, you have to toil for it and it's only your hard work that pays you.

This world has changed my mind that with Law you can do anything and many things have interacted with interlectual individuals who are more advanced on their fields of practice. This ha really changed my thinking and am even excited to learn more and give more to the world.

I did my KCSE in 2017 and attained a mean grade of C Plain.

In 2019 I joined Mount Kenya University to study my Diploma in Law. I graduated in 2021 and Currently am in my second year taking my LLB.
