Duties and Responsibilities

 Receiving applications for water use permits and verifying attachments as per the application check list.
 Offering public notifications for applications as per Water Resource Management Rule No. 29.
 Evaluation of groundwater permits applications forms including verifying hydro-geological reports on the project.
 Conducting riparian marking and pegging around river banks and catchment areas.
 Development of action plans and community flood hazard management maps.
