the Nyeri County Referral Hospital
Key responsibilities.
- Evaluated and assessed nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health
plans and screened patients for nutritional risk in accordance with established
department protocols and standards. - Developed and implemented dietary care plans and provided nutritional
counseling. - Consulted with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional
needs and diet restriction of patients. - Planned and initiated medical nutrition therapy to patients and indicated
patient’s requirements as per clinical protocols. - Communicated individual nutritional care plans to other health care providers as
a member of a healthcare team. - Calculated and wrote enteral and par-enteral feeds for patients according to
patient’s nutritional requirements. - Advised patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans and
