Currently serving as a Warehouse and supply chain officer at CKL AFRICA LTD. I'm carrying out duties on raising purchase requisitions, following up with suppliers for on-time deliveries, inspecting and receiving raw materials, daily reconciliation of physical and ERP system stocks, maintaining accurate inventory movements reports, dispatching finished goods in regard to the FIFO rule, optimizing truck turn-around time, and stock-taking.

I served as a supply chain assistant from 2019 to 2020 at Nkubu Farmers Store where I was in charge of issuing materials, carrying out the inspection of supplies, maintaining stock levels, and stock taking.

In 2018, I served as a procurement trainee where I had delegated duties in keeping stock records, placing orders, report writing, and engaging in supplier selection.

I have gained supply chain management skills in raising purchase requisitions, stock-level control, materials inspection, inventory movement reports, ERPs, dispatch of finished goods, optimization of TAT, FIFO implementation, and stock taking.

I graduated from Meru University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Purchasing and Supplies Management and achieved second-class honors, upper-division.

Experience

Supply chain and Warehouse officer at CKL AFRICA LTD, February 2022 - Current 

• Raising purchase requisitions based on user departments’ needs.

• Inspection and receiving raw materials according to the vendor’s invoice and

against the purchase order.

• Following up with the accounts team regarding payment of suppliers.

• Receipting purchase orders in the ERP system.

• Issuing raw materials to production after quality approval from the quality

assurance team.

• Receiving finished goods from the production department.

• Dispatching finished goods as per the D-note with regard to the FIFO rule.

• Optimizing truck turnaround time (TAT) for all deliveries.

• Maintaining accurate daily and weekly inventory movement reports.

• Safe custody of procurement-related documents for purposes of reference,

supplier/customer dispute, and reconciliation of accounts.

• Daily reconciliation of ERP stocks and physical stocks.

• Giving credit notes to customers for the return of damaged products.

• Organizing the storage and distribution of goods, to ensure that the right

products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost.

• Monitoring the flow of goods from the warehouse to the customer’s destination.

• Managing and maintaining good partnerships with third-party logistics

providers.
