High-Quality Health Care 

● Responsible for the clinical quality offered at the medical Centre and you work closely with the Clinical In-charge to ensure patients are getting the best clinical outcomes.

 ● Ensure the branch is trending well on metrics that enhance quality and patient experience; wait time, repeat rate is within allowable standards, appropriate use of EMR /technology as expected on all aspects of quality improvement. 

● The branch is well stocked with all essentials, lab, pharmacy, and general suppliers, the types of equipment are working, and all factors contribute to great clinical outcomes and patient experience. Work closely with the branch accountants to ensure to achieve this. 

● Work closely with the Quality Improvement Team to understand the level of quality delivery in the Medical Centre, work with them on an improvement plan that may include training, conversation, and accountability escalation with the HRBPs or any other necessary action plan. 

● Review quality audit reports, automated and non-automated quality metrics with the: Lab In Charge, Pharmacy In- Charge, and Clinical Coordinator In-charge, Nurse In-Charge and action on the recommendations 

● Ensure that staff are following and using the standard operating procedures and liaise directly with the Quality Improvement Team on any gaps 

● Inspire and motivate staff to provide outstanding customer service and maintain clinical standards

Operational excellence 

● Be aware of the drivers of profitability in your branch and ensure that they are all utilized to the optimal attainable limits

● Work in collaboration with Branch Accountants to ensure that the Medical Centre is on top of all controls on revenue management and all gaps are addressed promptly. 

● Ensure the daily Medical Centre checklists are checked every day: Washroom checklist, Balloons, Branch Manager daily checklist, Covid -19 protocols, Staff Name Tags, and all other details as per laid down requirements. You own to bring our vision of transforming the experience of Healthcare to all families all over Kenya! 

● Provide support to the outsourced firm handling cleaning services at the Medical Centre and escalate any gaps or concerns to the appointed Supervisors. 

● Oversee the management of Medical Centre equipment and all other assets in the facility and, in a timely manner, report any repairs or maintenance schedules needed at the branch to the repairs and maintenance department 

● Enforce safe work practices in the medical centers by ensuring your staff are observing safety-related SOP’s, identifying, and reporting unsafe workplace conditions or hazards. 

People management 

● Manage and motivate the entire Medical Centre team (clinical and non-clinical staff) 

● Conduct regular check-ins with each of your staff in which you discuss their job performance and give them professional feedback and you get feedback from them as well 

● Conduct Performance Reviews with inputs from the Quality Improvement Team and the Human Resource Department 

● Liaise with the HRBPs and escalate any staff-related matters to them giving a proper summary and smooth transition of staff issues so that they are handled as per Penda culture and efficiently 

● Lead the team toward our collective goals of operational excellence and outstanding patient experience, and the delivery of tech-enabled, high-quality healthcare.
