Mwanaidi Kitawa

I am a finance professional  with an interest in data science. I am passionate about financial inclusion, socio-economic development and financial literacy for all. I have a four year experience in banking and analytics area. Over time, i have sharppened my analytics skills, i am proffecient in data analysis and exploration, creating dashboards and reports. Aside from that i have experience in strategy development and i am also good in creating and maintaining client relationships.

October 2018 to November 2018, worked as an accounting intern in Milimani Commercial Courts.I worked directly under the chief Accountant and gained experince in Accounting in general.

In January 2019 to December 2019, i worked as a strategy analyst for Quiz Masters Kenya. This role allowed me to improve my analytic skills. I provided timely business and financial analytics reports  for decision making.

 In December 2019 to December 2022 i worked as a Cash Officer in Housing Finance Bank. This being a role i spent three years in, it significantly improved my customer service, team collaboration and communication skills just to mention afew. 

I have a degree in Financial Engineering aquired from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. I also have done a certificate in Certified Investment and financial analyst (CIFA) a course offered by Kasneb and i have completed the second section. I am currently doing my project for a course in data science from the Africa Data School.
