Responsibilities

 

  • Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliers.

  • Communicate with other departments such as TOM team to arranging BOL for BPS/UPP (Black Pallet Sleeves) and shipment receipts. 
  • Daily audits to ensure every workstation have sufficient supplies to keep area clean for the entire shift.

  • Assisting in keeping work area clean and organized.

  • Responsibilities
  • Planning, leading and assessing trainings of coaches and write training evaluation reports and assist the supervisor with logistical needs and preparation.

  • Undertake community mobilization & sensitization activities related to the livelihoods project.
  • Make regular and extensive visits to all project beneficiaries both technical and IGA support groups in the areas of operation in order to implement, supervise and monitor project implementation activities.
  • Liaise closely with the DRC national livelihoods staff and offer project stakeholders (community leaders, your rep, other agency staff etc.) in order to promote partnership and synergy.
  • Explore all links with individual members of the community (e.g. village chiefs, camp leader e.t.c.) and develop their engagement and ownership of the community based activities.
  • Establish a procedure allowing beneficiaries to comment or complain about aspects of the programmed and then address any relevant concerns.
  • Conduct refresher training for IGA support beneficiaries on business development skills, financial literacy and Group savings and loan methodology and as well make follow up with the trainers to measure the uptake of the training and provide guidance where necessary.
  • Help the project team in rolling out project related activity advertisements, application selection and vetting of project beneficiaries.
  • Maintain the groups’ data base and all information regarding the selected beneficiaries and file them.
  • Oversee the students’ welfare in the training centers and regularly inform the Livelihood assistant on the progress made at the training centers and the challenges that the students are facing in undertaking their training.
  • Ensure DRC policies, procedures, and standards are implemented accountably and transparently in all DRC’s work
  • participate in need assessments exercise, data collection and survey on income generation, and regular monitoring of the group's savings and loans and revolving funds beneficiaries in the areas of operation.
