I am a detail-oriented, accurate and analytical mathematician and statistician with an excellent understanding of business operations and analytics tools for effective analyses of data and a strong grasp of mathematical computations and algorithms.   1. PART-TIME JOB SKYTOP MCARFIX LIMITED: Field Sales Agent Independent Contractor.

As a Field Sales Agent, am responsible for consistently bringing new business to the company and ensuring the extensive distribution/uptake and sale of the products within the territories of operation by individuals and businesses across all industries in various territories around the globe, the ultimate goal being to generate revenue through and using digital platforms and tools. 

Main roles being:

 

  1. Generating revenue by meeting/exceeding established daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets

  • Checking the accuracy of accounting systems and procedures as directed by the auditor.
  • Reviewing, assessing and recommending changes in the accounting systems and control of business units.
  • Verifying and inspecting accounts receivable and payable on ledgers and general ledger for its accuracy.
  • Checking all accounting and clients’ database that are updated and functioning properly.
  • Inspecting, testing and assessing software and hardware systems in case of its failure.

  1. Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning of the County Government of Bungoma.

As from 1st September 2020 to 4th January 2021 and as a volunteer June, July and August 2021. Duties and Responsibilities are listed on the recommendation letters for the following departments:

  • Revenue department under Finance.
  • Economic planning and Statistics.

 

  1. Revenue department Responsibilities:
  • Collecting and issuing receipts on various revenue sources as deployed.
  • Banking the total daily cash collected in the county in the specified banks.
  • Ensuring that the cash banked has corresponding receipt issued and entered in control sheets by the supervisor.
  • Keeping personal record on daily collections and banking details.
  • Maximizing revenue collections by surpassing the set targets.
  • Accounting for all official receipt books issued.
  • Ensuring that only genuine and authorized county issued receipts and documents are in use in all revenue collection related activities.

  • Analyzing budget absorption trends and computing summaries.
  • Conducting economic analysis for county and national government publication.

  • Summarizing reports on public participation in budget making process.
  • Analyzing county revenue reports and trends.
