Having worked under different capacities within the banking and hospitality industries, I believe I have honed my professional skills based on my daily assigned tasks, including but not limited to:
· managing the flow of daily operational and administrative functions within various roles in banking, having performed various tasks within loan collections and reconciliations departments.
· Overseeing various projects including on boarding and ensuring the effectiveness of a reconciliation system at KCB.
· Supervising the departmental workflows and productivity for maximum output to the benefit of the organization.
· Administrative duties based on my daily assigned tasks, including but not limited to coordinating departmental meetings, being the department’s point of contact to address various issues and providing the necessary support.
I enjoy working with people and consider myself very much a team player. Whenever I have been given the opportunity, I interact well with both internal and external customers and I feel such a role would be ideally suited to both my expertise and personality. I have superior communication and multitasking capabilities and I thrive in an environment where my skills are put to task. I also have exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Highlights of my experience include:
· balancing multiple tasks within deadline-driven atmospheres while providing top-level customer service and maintaining strict attention to detail. This is fully demonstrated by my team leader role that required constant engagement with the rest of the team to ensure smooth running of all operations, while supporting management by ensuring work standards are met.
· Earning recognition of management and staff for exceptional interpersonal and employee improvement qualities, including professionalism, responsiveness and integrity among others.
· Possessing an extensive technical skill set—including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite—as well as a propensity for quickly adapting to new technological programs and systems.
The 3 productivity tips that work best for me are:
· Deep work, which helps me stay present and focus entirely on the tasks I’m doing, hence allowing me to push my cognitive capacities to their limit. I’m also able to concentrate better and productively, gradually scaling my duration and frequency on task accomplishments as I become better accustomed and proficient in my tasks.
· Time blocking which encloses the time I spend on tasks to be accomplished. This creates a competitive pressure for me, thus keeping me focused and result driven. It allows me to be more intentional with how I allocate time for specific tasks and places time boundaries hence I’m able to accomplish as much as I would love, within specific timelines, allowing me to meet and beat deadlines.
· Task batching, that helps me limit procrastination and multitasking without achieving results. I’m able to build a more focused workflow by creating momentum hence increasing my focus on important work, pushing me forward without constant interruption.
