About JOSEPH HORACE KARATU KAMAU:

I completed my BSc.Information Technology degree in 2019. I am skilled in Cloud Computing, DevOps, and Java.

I have gradually transitioned from Java Development to DevOps and finally to Cloud Computing. This has left me having diversified knowledge in IT.

I love time management and I continuously try to learn more about it. I believe it's the mother of all soft skills.

Other soft skills am good at include: leadership, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.

Experience

I am skilled in Cloud Computing after taking 4 professinal certifications; AWS cloud practitioner, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associates, Huawei HCIA cloud computing v4 and Google Associate Cloud Engineer.

I have also worked on my DevOps skills by learning and practicing; Git, Docker, Jenkins , Kubernetes and currently learning Terraform.

I am skilled in Java springboot which I use for both monolithic and microservice architecture. I use Bootstrap, CSS(SASS) for my front end.
