Gichuru Muriuki

Am a professional graphic designer, 3D artist and a programmer with a passion of venturing into new projects concerning the same. I have experience in various development and editing software; Android Studio, Visual studio, Blender, adobe photoshop, Adobe After effects, substance painter, Filmore video editor, maya and adobe illustrator. I have worked on my own personal projects as well as with various established companies. My work is described of high quality in terms of clarity and resolution. I have modeled several objects ranging from houses, clothes, vehicles, furniture, computers, character (rigging and animating them), and anything I bump into. With my extensive experience in my field of specialization, I can deliver successful and attention-grabbing projects.

In the programming world, I specialized in app, software and website development. Programming languages that I normally use is Java, python (animation), C#, Java script, html, CSS, XML and kotlin. I have created more mobile based systems as compared to desktop systems because I believe our phones are always at a pocket reach as compared to laptops. It is easier to manage your business and trace the sales using a device that is always with you. I have worked on several projects ranging from personal projects all the way to company projects.

Animation projects.

• Muhonja and her brother, 2019. An African kid’s bed time story written by Prof. Egara Kabaji. Published in Youtube in 2020, with 60,000 plus viewers. Made using Blender software in conjunction with Mixamo.
• The blacksmith, his wife and the ogre, 2020. Another Prof. Egara Kabaji short story for kids.
• Fort School isometric advert animation,2022.
• A short-animated cartoon for kids “work! Work! Work!” on YouTube.
• A short-animated cartoon for kids “The honest wood cutter,” on YouTube.

PROGRAMMING PROJECTS.

• Nipromote market ecommerce app. Used by hardware distributors to display their products at various hardware stores at whole sale price and offers.
• Smart business management system application. An android application for managing stock, sales and product catalogue. 
• QR coded security patrol system in Blueline Security Company.

Am a graduate of Pwani University with Second Class upper in Bsc Computer Science 2016 - 2021.

Certified  3D Animator from  Animator School.

Currently pursuing CCNA.
