I wish to apply for the Communications Officer, Southern Kenya Landscape position at your organization. I am a self-motivated individual with a passion to succeed and thrive towards adding value to a company’s long term growth goal. 

I am currently working at I&M Bank as a Marketing and Communications Manager where am largely involved in PR, Above the Line and Below the Line Advertising and Digital Communications, by developing brand building strategies for products while synchronizing them with the company’s business objectives. I have previously worked for Equity Bank as an Assistant Communications Manager on a similar role. 

I have also worked at Gina Din Corporate Communications as a Public Relations Account Manager and handled clients such as General Motors, Unilever, GSK, Safaricom, Loreal, MTN Business among others.  I was largely involved in developing and implementing PR campaigns, event planning and management such as product launches, re-branding events, customer appreciation events, and advertising campaigns. I also implemented several CSR programmes for clients such as the tree planting exercises, charity walks such as the MTN Business Ear walk, among others. 

I have also previously worked at Apex communications as an Account Executive where I was largely involved with writing clients’ newsletters, backgrounders, fact sheets and speeches, developing communication/PR strategies and coordinating media relations for clients’ businesses such as AATF, UNICEF, Nairobi Water Company, USAID’s Capacity Project. 

I have worked at Bidco Oil Refineries as a Marketing Assistant where I was largely involved towards building the company’s corporate image and creating demand for the company’s products through creation of effective marketing strategies, conducting customer satisfaction surveys for company’s brands and developing various brand building/management plans for new products.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications, Public Relations with a minor in Marketing from Daystar University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing, project on brand loyalty from the University of Nairobi.

I am an oriented individual with abilities to perform under no supervision and also capable of working well under immense pressure to succeed, while synchronizing the same as a team player.
