My name is Everlyne Mwikali Kaloki.I graduated from Everyone University with a BSC degree in Environmental Science.I am currently working on contract with Bamburi Cement as Occupational health and safety Officer.I have mastered my job in ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety guidelines by conducting Risk assessment, Health and Safety training, Standard Operations procedure reviews,coordinating statutory audits,Coordinating Statutory training like first aid and fire Marshal as well as Safety committee, incident investigation and reporting as well as Monthly safety performance reports among others.

I am a hard-working person,good in communication and interpersonal skills.I can work under minimal supervision.I  am fast in making decisions and planning as well.

I am currently working with Bamburi Cement LTD on contract as Occupational health and safety office where I was tasked with;

Ipection of the premises for identification and elimination of activities/situations that may be regarded as potential hazards and follow up on closure of actions raised. 
Monitoring of contractors activities for compliance to the HS guidelines and Permit to Work process.
Follow up on Health and Safety Statutory Audits as per the requirements.
Ensure plant and machinery safety (Follow up and Maintaining routine inspections and servicing).
Ensure that all new employees are inducted as per the induction program.
Follow up on the employees Health and Safety KPIs performance.
Assist in departmental review of the Standard Operating Procedures.
Conducting Route Cause Analysis.
Monthly reporting on Health and Safety Performance.

I have also worked with English Press Limited as Environment health and safety Officer where I performed my tasks included:

Implement Companys EHS system as well as Ensure compliance and conformance with relevant health and safety statutory requirements. 
Conducting daily workplace inspections to ensure a safe workplace without risk to health.
Follow up on Statutory Audits and inspections(Plant Equipment and machinery, Fire Equipment among others) 
Ensure that all new employees are inducted as per the induction program.
Issue PPEs regularly, maintain records and enforce proper usage.
Conducting Weekly Toolbox and also Accidents/incidents investigations.
Maintenance of first-aid and welfare facilities and also maintain accident statistics.
Ensure all EHS committee members, fire marshals and first aiders are appropriately trained as per the Requirements.
