1. Lead Internal Audit’s change initiative by implementing action plans related to risk assessment and annual planning, audit execution, audit reporting, and audit technology.
2. Lead Internal Audit’s annual risk assessment and enterprise risk assessment and planning process to develop the audit plan and ensure the plan is responsive to and aligned with the risk profile of the organization.
3. Oversee the execution of individual audits defined in the audit plan ensuring the highest level of service quality.
4. Issue all internal audit reports ensuring the reports are clear, concise, identify root causes with practical solutions, and ultimately provide value to management.
5. Meet regularly with the Audit Committee to report the status of Internal Audit’s ongoing monitoring activities, educate/inform the committee of emerging risks and/or exposures (whether internal or external to the company) that should be considered, and serve as a “thought leader” with respect to risk management and internal control best practices.
6. Manage the process to track, follow-up, and ultimately close all open audit issues leveraging the Audit Committee, if necessary.

Key Achievements
1. Managed and oversaw program design and delivery for all capacity building- related activities that targeted management committee members, group staff members, Caritas Staff members and all other stakeholders.

for the program’s capacity development strategy;

d. Identifying risks and evaluate adequacy of controls;
3. Appropriately identified exceptions and communicate to audit team and management;
4. Objectively reviewed self-help programme operational processes;
5. Evaluated the efficacy of risk management procedures that are currently in place
6. Protected groups against fraud and theft of the self-help groups assets;

8. Reviewed the economic efficiency and effectiveness in the utilization of the group resources so that its objectives are achieved.
