Experience

  • I have been in the field of Store/Warehouse Management, Procurement and Purchase for eight years. Specialized in stock management, Inventory management with routine cost reports on consumable stocks and production cost reports on major raw materials in the store/Warehouse. 
  • Properly experienced in stock control through maintaining Re-Order Level (ROL) and ensuring monthly orders are done in/on time to avoid material stockouts in the store. 
  • In eight years of experience, I have efficiently worked with E-BIZ and SAP as major inventory and stock control tools. 
  • I have proper knowledge of receiving goods in the system (GRNs) and submitting them to accounts early enough for early booking to enhance payment of vendors on time. 
  • Issuing goods from the system (MRS) in the order of First In-First Out (FI-FO), making Returns to stock in either cancelling of GRNs or MRSs and filing records of the same. 
  • Raising PURCHASE REQUISITIONS (PRs) in both SAP and E-BIZ and following stock movement in both SAP and E-Biz. 
  • Stock cycle counts and Updating Bin cards in the store/Warehouse to monitor real-time stock movement and maintain stocks on shelves to control any possible system-physical stock variations. 
  • Checking and counterchecking materials received against the LPOs at the gate entry point. This is to avoid wrong receipts in the factory and ensure that the LPO quantity corresponds to the physical quantity and the items received. This is enhanced by strictly following the store’s STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (SOPs) Laid down by the company. 
  • I have vast experience in working with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Sending and receiving mail by Outlook and G-mail, among other computer basic knowledge.

  • St. Luke’s Ndori mixed secondary for my O level. Managed B- of 51 points. 
  • Oduwo Primary School for primary education. Sat for KCPE in 2003 and managed a score of 320 out of the possible 500 marks.
