MY RESPONSABILITIES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN

• Planning human and material logistic resources needed for the correct implementation of activities. 
• Establishing contacts with authorities and other company’s and represents my employer in meetings with those entities for logistics related issues.
• Ensuring that security is guaranteed to the highest level possible in the whole mission by implementing all official guidelines and working closely with the Management on all security issues. 
• An active member of the Mission Coordination Team (MCT) and participate in the planning of objectives and goals to be set, in regards to logistics activities. 
• To guarantee that ongoing projects are implemented in line with official standards and principles.
• Responsible for all logistics issues of my employer. 
• Responsible and supervised all logistics team in the field (recruitment, training, follow-up and evaluations). 
• The technical reference person for all field logistics staff the proper use of material and financial resources and the proper management of logistics team members 
• Contributing to preserving identity and principles of the organization through discussions, contributions and reflections on issues related to the values of the organization.
• Ensuring house and office set up  
• Defining transport means needed (rental cars, truck, donkey cats…)
• Setting up communication network (mobiles, sats, radios) Licences + authorisations needed
IT setting up (Comps, printers,…)

TASKS  
Projects logistics activities planning & follow up
• Participated actively in the definition and update of annual project planning and budgets.
• Was responsible for preparation of orders, in company with field department for the technical ones, ensuring that they are done according to guidelines and on time and that stock ruptures are avoided in field projects. 
• Provided support to field logistics staff in regards with logistics management related to technical issues.
• Supervised and assessed progress made in technical & logistics area at project level while visiting regularly the capital; proposed to company Managemnt reorientation strategies, when necessary.

Emergency management 
• Participates in the elaboration and periodical update of the Emergency Preparation Plan (EPP).

• Ensured that security is guaranteed to the highest level possible in the whole company by implementing all company guidelines and working closely with Management on all security issues. 
• Ensured that all necessary measures are taken in order to avoid theft, destruction or other type of damage of company material and property. 

Supplies
• Organized the company’s supply chain system according to protocols and guidelines. 
• Ensured that local purchases are done according to supply system and that quality and services provided respond to company standards. 
• Ensured that logistics orders are done correctly, on the basis of consumptions and future needs. 
• Ensured that administrative procedures related to supply are done according to protocols.

Stocks
• Ensured that storage, packing and management of stocks are done according to protocols
• Provided logistical support to field department to ensure adequate storing, packing and technical management.
• Ensured that parts are stored and distributed according to needs and protocols.

Construction
• Supervised the construction and rehabilitation of all structures related to company activities in the field and occasionally in the capital
Vehicles and Engines
• Ensured that the fleet of vehicles meets the needs of the company and complies with company standards.
