Bernard Omondi

Thank you for the opportunity to apply for this position. My name is Bernard Omondi, a Graphic designer. I am 41 years old. I schooled at the University of Nairobi where I got a bachelor of arts degree in design. I also schooled at the Buru Buru Institute of fine arts and got a diploma in art and design (Graphic design). I have worked for Studio Graphics and Cynorte Designs. My responsibilities while working for these two companies were:

1. Designing layouts for fliers, posters, magazines, and point-of-sale advertisements.
2. Large format printing.
3. Branding of promotional items.
4. Carrying out research on the best way to market a company.

I love working with vector graphics in my design work because of their ability to maintain sharpness even after scaling. Using CorelDraw and the Adobe creative suite software I could comfortably deliver the duties I listed above. I got interested in the position because I know I can deliver in the creation of point-of-sale advertisements and more. In my design work, I normally enjoy working with vector graphics because of their ability to maintain high resolution even after scaling. Through the use of vector graphics, I believe I can design neat point-of-sale advertisements. Thank you.
